BFF's Forever

Time moves too quickly. Yesterday, they were infants. Today, they are big girls.

Charley is my best friend. "Nana, you're my BEST FRIEND. I love you, Nana."

"Charley, I love you. You are MY best friend. And Cam (jiggling her big toe, which is perched on my leg), YOU are my best friend, too!"

Eyes roll. (Yes, even three-year-old eyes will roll.) "Nana, you can't be my best friend. I'm a big girl."

What a knife to my heart!

Oops! Guess they aren't even friends at this moment, 'cuz Charley just slugged Cam in the face. Better don my striped suit before blood flows!
